Interview........
waived; ecas "In Process" Oct. 12, 2012
Hi,

I recently ordered GMCS notes, in the Eligibility section, the VO wrote a positive summary of our case and ended the note with "Recommend WAV" in bold letters.

Does anyone have an idea what "WAV" would stand for?

Thanks

Honestly I am guessing but based on where your application is at, could it perhaps be short for:
"Recommend WAIVE Interview"??

I have the same and this was my hopeful interpretation of it but I would rather have confirmation. Did you ever find out what RECOMMEND WAV. meant? Anyone?

It means your interview is waived, congratulations. Did you guys have red flags? Because that's an unusually long wait time for a waived interview application

My application was received Aug 31 2011, sponsorship approval received and file sent to Singapore in November. Not touched since August on last year. recommend wav. In July last year. Everything seemed in keeping with the wait time listed at the time but as I recall it we should be done in Oct/Nov at the latest and though we submitted a translated criminal records check through the dept on foreign affairs, security and criminality still 'not started' and medical is expired. I imagine it will have to be redone.
6 mo of strike. Timing? Terrible. I just want to shoot myself. It's unconscionable cruelty. No red flags listed, yet some people clear in a year even through Singapore. Not sure what to do next. Thanks for answering, I'm so happy to have that confirmed
