Hi everyone.

Can anyone please help me with this question.

I finished a 1 year program which had a 4 month coop/internship and then i took another 4 month GAS to increase my chances of my PGWP. I had apply for a co-op permit in order to do the coop at a company.

At this point i have my off campus work permit, i use that to work for 40 hours a week. I may get an opportunity in a company to work but it is an internship, can i use my OCWP to get paid. Pay is honorarium (Minimum pay) or do I have to apply for the coop permit again?

1. You can apply for a Co-op WP only if its an essential part of the program and for that, you will need a letter from school. It's against rules to work more than 20 hours/week on your OCWP except during breaks.

Hi, I think you can only work 20 hours because you are now on a study permit except you are on holiday.... Please can we keep in touch I would like to know about the outcome of the GAS program you are taking because I intend taking it this fall when I am done with my 3 semesters of study... Cheers
