Hi there,
I am an internationally educated diploma nurse and I applied for pr about a year ago.
Is there anyone who managed to sit the canadian registration exam for nurses
with only a diploma ? or do all internationally educated nurses have to visit the re-enry
programs they're talking about ?

I am just not sure which way to go....

thanks so much for any ideas...

It would be my guess that elevin did a 3 year Diploma in Nursing (RN) as opposed to a 4 year Degree (BSN), outside Canada.

Hello,

Yes, I am a nurse with a 3 year diploma. Most nurses in Switzerland are diploma nurses.
Now, I do not know if it would be the best option to study for the BScN degree (another 2 years)
back here, or if I should wait for PR, go to Canada, apply for registration and wait to what they will suggest.
I noticed that there are several re-entry and other -programs for IEN's, but are these courses
also for diploma nurses or only for the ones with a degree ?

Is anyone in a similar situation ?
I appreciate any help or ideas very, very much.
