I've been working remotely for clients (mostly from US) for last 3 years, on contract basis. I can arrange a reference letter from each of them. I've a few questions though:
1. I am a digital marketer. Should I use the code 0124 or 1123. The description in 0124 sounds more related to my experience but I have read on this forum that it's a managerial position and it's quite difficult to prove work experience for this NOC and that I should go with 1123. Please help.
2. My bachelors degree is in engineering and is not related to my work experience (marketing) or NOC. Is it fine?
3. From what I've read on this forum, to prove my self employed work experience, I have to get reference letters from my clients stating:
- My responsibilities, which would be close to the ones mentioned on the NOC page)
- Number of hours I worked
- Paypal/Elance transactions (from those clients)
Is that right? Do I need to arrange anything else? Also, should there be any set hourly rate? Since I belong to a poor country (india) with $2k/year average annual income.. Can I just show that much income per year ? (and then say its for worth 1500 hours)?
Actually my income is in line with average Canadian income.. its just that most of it is from non direct client sources (for examples, from Adsense, affiliate commissions etc..which won't count in my work experience)
4. With 3 years of work experience and CLB 9+ in Ielts.. my EE score is 438. From what I read here, I stand no chance in EE draw and can only get in through PNP,is it right? I'll start my application in a few days (once I get WEC ECA). Ontario PNP requires 400 minimum score and 438 is considered great for it and I should get ITA from there.. is it right?
Waiting for your answers.
