International student with 14+ year old child

I have a child of 14 years, I want to go for a PGD in Canada. Do i need to take a separate minor study permit. Or his studyis free. What is chances of getting Visa
My qualification : Bsc and 1 year of masters (Msc)
Bank balance : 20k CAD

With a bank balance of only 20K chances are essentially zero that you'll get a study permit and your child will be able to join you on a SP or TRV. Would add that if you increase your funds you will need pretty strong proof that a PGD would lead to career advancement and makes sense given your masters degree.
