International Student Owes Rent?

Hello,

I was wondering if I had any way of reporting an international student who fled the country without paying me rent? He provided photocopies of his passport and student visa documents if that helps

This is a legal matter - not an immigration matter. CIC will only care if there was an immigration violation. Failure to pay rent unfortunately isn't an immigration violation.
