International Student Enrolled Part Time in the last two semesters

Hi guys,
So I have this question. I'm in a 2 year accounting program, so 6 semesters ideally for program completion. Because I didn't get the grade requirements for two courses, I had to redo them again. So I had to extend my student permit for a semester, which got approved, and in my last semester I had just two courses for program completion. Note that up untill this point, I was enrolled full time, for my first 6 semsters , 3 or 4 courses. And International students could only work when they are enrolled part time, if they are in the last semester. I did part time work this semester. Everything was going perfect. But in that semester, I failed a course. I registered for that course for the next semester, and now this becomes my last semester.

I was hoping if anyone could comment on my working eligibility, if that part time work I did during semester 7 is unauthorized or not, any PGWP impacts and how can I fix this. I tried calling IRCC on their toll free because i felt that the information on their website relating to my circumstances were a bit vague, but no one picked up. I mean, surely for my last semester I did not expect to fail, but one don't know unless one fails, right? And is this really an unprecedented case, isn't there anyone who had similar circumstances. Any information on the matter is appreciated.

So how many semesters were your part time? Your title says two but then state one.

So based on this you are not eligible for a PGWP since you must be full time for all semesters except the last one. All you can do is apply and wait for approval or refusal.

You can’t be part-time. See the link about eligibility. Again you may get approved but not guaranteed.

Take additional courses in your 8th semester to make yourself full time. You obviously don't need these extra courses but you want to avoid having two part time semester.

yes, that is an option. that would let me work this 8th semester and be enrolled full time. But the internatonal office at college said i'll have to discontinue working during the pgwp application process, which is comparatively fair. Who should i contact to confirm stuff like this? I mean , I tried IRCC toll free but it said it was too busy, there was no one on the other side.

1/ Your major problem is going to be that you were a part time student in more than the last semester. That makes you ineligible for a PGWP.
