I am an international student with a valid status till Dec 30 2018, my husband and i got nominated to apply for PR. We already put in our federal PR application 10 months ago and got confirmation email. my husband is on open work permit and is also the principal applicant and included my name in the PR application. now my issue is, I applied to extend my study permit on Nov 8th 2018 but till now i have not received any reply from CIC and my study permit expires on the 30th of Dec 2018. i know about implied status till i hear from cic. My question is if my study permit extension gets rejected, am i still on implied status till i know the result of our PR application? I am freaking out as i don't want to go back to my country leaving my husband and 8 month old baby.
