Hi All,

Just wanted to check what is the process if you had to defer the intake due to delay from IRCC in issuing your study permit and you receive PPR later?

Do I have to inform IRCC?
Does it have any negative impact?
Do I have to reapply for study permit?

Just update the deferred offered letter on gc key if it's within 150 days. Read the guidelines on the ircc portal, everything is explained there

If the deferral is not more than 150 days away, you don't have to do anything. If it's more, send a webform to IRCC informing them you are deferring your admission.

I am not aware of anywhere in the GCKey where you can upload/update the deferred offer letter.

Congratulations on your PPR. I'm glad it finally came through :).
