Hello,

After my graduation I got rejected from PGWP and applied for Visitor visa inside Canada. It’s been more than 2 months I didn’t get response. I applied tourist visa before my study permit expired so there should not be a problem. I wonder in how many days I should leave Canada if I rejected? I’m thinking to buy flight ticket to go back my country but I don’t know when they will answer. Second question is, would it be problem for my future visas if I just leave right now before I got any response?

Thanks in advance.

1. You should note the processing time for an extension is 105 days. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...vices/application/check-processing-times.html
2. If you are rejected, you are supposed to leave immediately, but most people are given 30 days grace.
3. If you leave, as long as you meet the requirement for a TRV it should be issued, but as no one knows your personal circumstances, it can only be a guess.

Hi

Thank you for your reply! In my rejection letter it was saying my study permit will expire 90days after graduation and before that day I applied for tourist visa. It’s better to leave now probably. Thanks again!
