You are applying to extend - visitor record. Yes, you need to pay an application fee and show money. You need to show that you can afford to stay in Canada as a visitor.

I applied for the visitor record on 9th October and my WP expired on 11th Oct. I left the country on 21st Oct and I Have a valid TRV. Is there any issue if I want to travel to Canada. Also, I recently received the biometrics fees request on my VR application so what would be the reason ?

You need to inform IRCC that you are no longer in Canada and withdraw your visitor record application. If you attempt to visit Canada on your TRV you will be assessed as any visitor is.

How can i inform them if i want to withdraw my application ? And is there any issue if I dont withdraw my application?
