Inquiry - stay in canada not retrun back

hope your doing fine.

I have a question. if some one coming to Canada by Travel visa or tourist visa. after completing duration of visa doesn't return back to home ( their country)

Canada government how deal with this case ? deported or can request immigration ....

so staying on illegally could eventually if caught result in deportation and a lengthy ban from returning plus a negative effect on any future PR application.

Seems an obvious answer for any country when overstaying illegally
