Hi,

I am in a thesis-based master’s program in a university in Canada. I have been in this program for almost three years and am expecting graduation in three months. So when answering the question 12 in form: Application for Permanent Residence in Canada [IMM 0008], “How many years of formal education do you have?” should I include the 3 years in my master’s program although it is not completed yet? Thanks!

Yes, you should include the 3 years in your Masters' degree in your total years of education and in your years of university education (but...you obviously can't consider it complete until you graduate for points purposes).
