Inland vs Outland spousal application

Hi,
My husband is a canadian PR and he is living in Alberta. I am Indian citizen, and currently I am living in Ontario on study Visa and pursuing my Masters from University staring March 2016. I want to know if I can apply for outland PR (from India office) while I am still living in canada on study visa?
Also, please confirm if the Medical which was done during my study visa application can be used for PR application or is their any separate medical requirement for PR application? I had my medical in Feb 2016.

Hi

Outland is your only option, as you must be living with your spouse to apply inland.

You can use the same medical. However, it is valid for one year; if your PR app takes longer, CIC may extend it or request a new one.
