I M rrizwan from Pakistan. Currently, I am visiting Canada on a visit visa. I am 22 years old and I m going to get married with a Canadian woman who is 45 years old . She is legally divorced from almost 10 years. We became friends on Facebook almost a year back. Now I have multiple visit visa of Canada for five years.
We are planning to get married soon. Will it be be easy for my spouse to apply for inland spousal sponsorship?
We ll be living together in the same house . Age facor will be be hindrance for us in getting the PR. Please guide me
Thanks in advance

Right now you cannot travel to Canada due to travel bans on all but essential travel. You will need to wait until the travel bans have been lifted before you can come to Canada as a visitor.

IRCC will likely have concerns about the age gap between you and your partner in Canada. I would strongly recommend that you live together for a number of months first before getting married. If you get married immediately, IRCC will likely suspect a marriage of convenience on your part to gain status in Canada. I would recommend living together for 6-8 months before getting married to make it clear the relationship is genuine. Good luck.

Thanks very much for replying me!
Definitely,we ll be living for 6 or 8 months together before getting married. The thing is that I and my friend, who is Canadian, have all the records in the form of msgs since we started talking on Facebook.

We are really really concerned about this process... What else we can we do in order to strengthen our case?
Actually,we want to make sure that we don't get disappointed at the end.
We ll follow all the instructions that will be given by you.

Have you met in person yet? That is a huge age difference so you)re going to have to expect questioning at the very least. If you are in a real relationship you will go through the process knowing there may be issues but you’ll deal with it even if it means relocating to Pakistan for a while.
