In the event that we still apply Inland... :-\

You can include a visitor extension if you like, but if you have a properly completed OWP application and pay the full amount (which is $255), it's not really needed.
Of course, if the Inland application is returned because of a missing or outdated form, or missing signature(s), he would then be out of status, unless you had included the visitor extension.

If you decide to submit an Outland application, you should definitely extend his status.

Awesome, thank you!

Husband is seriously considering the outland application. What happens if we ask for the extension and get denied? Does that mean the permanent residence application is still okay for processing and he just needs to leave the country for a week or so. Or does it mean his PR application is compromised?

Thanks again everyone, I really appreciate the help.

If you apply outland and the extension is denied, it has no effect on his PR application.

Thank you. :)

SO NOW, for the refund. It says the $100 OWP holder fee is refundable. I'm not sure how to go about getting that. But what about the work permit fee itself? Is that refundable?

Found out how to go about asking for a refund, just worried I won't get that $155 back now!
