Inland Spousal PR application returned

Hi all I submitted application on PR portal /early april - without PCC (as it was still under process and still in under process)

Also I submitted SOWP application!

Just today got email from them / application returned due to pcc not provided - I thought we can apply without PCC

My pgwp is expiring on may 05

Now since I applied for sowp as well - got temporary maintenance status email from them 2 weeks back for until oct - open wp is also returned because, applied on pr portal

any suggestions here

Did you resubmit both the sponsorship application and the OWP application by May 5th?

Nope I could not because the PCC- police clearance certificate is still 1 more week delayed (contacted the bls dept that delayed it )
only after receiving that I can resubmit on PR portal .. not sure about OWP - has to be Re submit a new one again ?

So then you have maintained status temporarily but will fall out of status as soon as your OWP is refused.

did you apply for visitor extension before you PGWP expired? If you did, that's good because you now implied status.

If you did not, I would recommend applying for restoration of status.

Just to add, I'm assuming you resubmitted the OWP alone by May 5.

If you didn't resubmit either, then you are now out of status.

I would strongly recommend applying for visitor extension before you status expires. Be mindful of the UTC time as well. This will give you implied status for the time being and potentially a visitor status. You will have to stop working during this time but you can apply for the OWP with your spousal.

Your post isn't clear. You applied for a visitor record only? Or will apply for one today? You need to give full details. Hard for us to guess.

The visitor visa (also known as TRV) is more of a travel document that helps you come in and out of the country. So you still need to apply for the visitor record.

Submit the visitor record application now. This will give you maintained status but you will need to stop working as of Thursday.

The TRV does not give you status in Canada.

You will fall out of status on Thursday if you do nothing.
