Inland PR Applicant on Visitor visa

Hi, my wife is in visitor status and is about to expire on Nov 20, 2025. I have applied for inland Spousal PR and we have received AOR and Biometric letter till date. We have also applied for SOWP and is still awaiting for decision.
As her status is expiring, do we need to apply for visitor record? Is it too late to apply now?

She has maintained status with the SOWP until the decision is made.

Thank you for your response. Was confused after I was checking in google because it says you have to apply for visitor record to maintain your status. If she was work permit holder before and was applying for work permit again then it says not required but since she is a visitor, she has to apply for visitor record.

Just to add, we have received AOR for SOWP but no decision yet. Looks like it makes sense that she has maintained status since SOWP is in progress
