Hi all, I recently posted this on the FB group, but wanted to know thoughts here too. I got my CoPR letter recently (April 26th) which said:
"...You must present yourself to one of our offices within 30 days from the date of this letter.
We are pleased to offer you a new option for confirming your permanent residence. You may now present yourself
without an appointment to one of the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada offices listed below, within
the time ranges indicated:
(lists addresses of Halifax and Fredericton)..."
So does this literally mean I can turn up unannounced and am guaranteed to be seen that day? It's an hour or so drive to Fredericton so I'd not want to miss it, plus Friday 24th is literally the only day my partner and I can both attend, with the 25th and 26th being the weekend, so if we can't then we'll have to get an interview another way.
Anyone had any issues with this?
Thanks
