Hello all,
First time posting and amazed by how awesome and resourceful this forum is.
My Canadian partner and I (Australian) are planning to submit our Spousal sponsorship visa in July, as this will be after 12 months of residing with each other in Australia.
As I have already completed a working holiday visa in Canada, we are very much hoping we would be eligible for an inland visa for OWP purposes, and we have a key question we would like to clarify before applying.
In Guide 5525 it states that "if your partner is applying for Common-Law Partner in Canada class, they must already co-habit (live) with you in Canada".
As we have lived in Australia for the past 12 months together, does this only make us eligible for outland, or is the requirement of having at least a 12 month relationship not restricted to just living inside Canada?
We're just starting out on our Sponsorship visa journey so any assistance/key posts to refer to would be appreciated!
Cheers
