Hi,

Did you receive Landing appointment? I got SA on Jun 1st but no AIP or DM. I have seen people usually get SA and AIP same day. Any idea how long it takes for AIP and DM?

We was in same situation as you were before, Only received SA but not AIP
our file was transferred to local office and was scheduled for interview after 8 months

Ohh! was it an interview to verify genuineness or landing interview ? Also how soon after SA did they email you to let you know its transferred to the local office? They already requested medicals which we completed. Were you requested medicals too before it was transferred ?

yes they Interviewed us separately
after SA I think within a month they transfer to local office I can't remember
we only redo medical after the interview

Thanks. They requested medical after interview or before interview? I thought medicals are requested after AIP and they may have just forgotten to send the AIP.

just an update on my timeline

Sep 9 2014 applicant
SA on April 21 2016
no AIP
DM letter in email on May 3rd 2016

letter says Vancouver office will contact us for interview.

it's been 5 weeks and we haven't got any mail letter/emails about the interview. i've seen some people getting interview like a week after DM letter. kinda worried now.

is it possible that they call us and we missed the call?

or can you call the local office and ask?

Hi Can_2016,

No we haven't receive our landing appointment yet. We are hoping this month. We only received OWP on May 30 by mail then no changes with our ECAS for SA or AIP. They have requested Police cert on May 11, 2016. They received the police clearance however the out of country police shows in the tracking # that it will arrived tomorrow.

So we are still waiting for the ecas to update but normally once they request police they automatically received SA & AIP at the same time. then after a couple or 3 weeks DM then landing interview after a month. If you received SA for sure you will get the DM soon, there might me some delayed on getting that to you.

Can 2016... we are in the same boat got SA on May 27th 2016 no AIP...Requested Medicals before SA though...Makes me think wat now....

mine was 4 weeks yesterday so i called cic and was told it takes 6 weeks to hear back for landing invitation from my region that if I dint hear anything before or on the 20th that i shld call back... So am suggesting u call cic don't just keep waiting.

A friend of mine saw her e-cas change to Decision Made more than 6 weeks ago, but she never received a letter. She kept calling CIC to find out what is happening and they kept telling her that there's nothing they can tell her. After 6 weeks of calling, she finally got a helpful agent who explained that it was a positive decision and her landing is on Thursday (tomorrow!!). The only problem is that she never actually received a letter so technically she doesn't know what to bring etc. And from what I remember, you had to show the letter in order to get past security so I am very curious as to what is going to happen. Just another example of CIC incompetence.

Exact same thing happened to us.

We called CIC today and the agent we spoke to advised that our landing interview is tomorrow and that the person who was to send us the landing interview letter forgot to send it last week.

The agent tried reaching their office to advise but they couldn't reach anyone.

The agent advised us to attend tomorrow and to bring everything with us.

Can anyone please advise what we are supposed to typically bring?

Photos for the PR card, passports, letters and documents and payment receipt.
