I want to ask, is this letter what is called Acknowledgement of Receipt? I am the principal applicant. Or can anyone give a sample of AOR. Thanks all

Hey,petitemimi said:Have you tried to go to RAMQ office in down town? I faced a similar situation like you last year being pregnant and still not having my PR, they were very helpful and gave me some useful advise. I am not mistaken (but please do go there and check) if you have applied and you already received your CSQ (which I think at this stage you have not, I assumed??) You can actually be covered by the RAMQ for your pregnancy. If you have not received your CSQ but you have your AOR, I remembered they also gave me some way out but you have to come there and show them the letter. I also would advise you to go there together with your spouse/sponsor. Let me know how it goes. If it does not work out, I can give you some tips how to minimize your cost. In my case, I was not eligible to be covered by RAMQ at the end. But we managed to get some works around.

virk1129 said:I applied for the inland process in march 2014. Had also applied for owp which was turned down because they said that according to them i havent submitted any application for pr within canada. I got an aor in august and also have a visitors record now.
I think cic doesnt have employees for processing applications as we can see the processing times, they have been processing applications recieved n july 30 2013 from the past one month amd even reverted back to 29 july on one occasion. I dont think they will ever speed up the proceesing....this is so unfair
