Hi thank u sophiee i have a question we just submitted an inland application this week however my husbands wp is expiring this june2014 we included in the package an extension for stay as a worker. What if our package is returned due to some missing documents what will happen its near his wp expiration. Please help us.

YES he can still work, As you did originally submit the application before his current work permit/visa expires in June. The same problem happened to me but you can still work...

Sent in originally in Dec. 2013. Got it back, needed one form. Did that and re-sent and was received in Miss. in early March. I am the sponsor. Still no word back yet.

I understand I didnt either. When did you send your application? When did you get it back? Are you the sponsor?

good day again guys. my wife is sponsoring me under the category spousal application. she have all her proof of employment but she is missing her most recent t4. will it be a problem if we send the application off without it? thanks much guys.

she can request the T4 along with the option C printout from the CRA. doesn't cost anything.

First update also a good news for this petition:

Enza Uda, a CBC reporter has replied to this petition. CBC wants progress updates on the number of signatures. If we want our voices to be heard please support this petition and leave your comments on the petition page as soon and as much as possible. CBC will have a report on their radio, web and tv on this coming Monday May 12 2014.

Well normally you dont hear anything until the 1st stage of processing.

I signed the petition as well. I haven't been waiting long, but I honestly feel like the extended wait time is ridiculous on those who have already been waiting for a while. I hope this catches more attention and helps us out in the long run.

hi again jamesdavid, now im confused is application for change condition/stay as a worker the same thing as extension? How about application for OWP? We submitted an application for change condition/extend stay as a worker included in the package and paid 155 for it? Was that right?

Thank you very much Chakrab. she got another t4 from her place of employment today. we mail the package off to cpc Mississauga. I also apply for a open work permit too. do you think that's a good idea? my previous work permit expired nov 2012. any input will be greatly appreciated. thank you very much guys.

Never heard of that before. Some people apply the day after they are married.

How can you apply the day after you get married? The marriage certificate comes after a month or so....and it is obviously mandatory to include the marriage cert. in your application for PR.
