Alhamdulilah i landed today Am so happy, the interview literally took 4mins and i was asked just 4 questions concerning if i had criminal record here or outside canada. The officer was sooo nice. Finally no more waiting.

I am in the same situation. sponsor has received decision made not yet for the applicant .I checked my email and status every day .Let's keep praying God will help us through and we will be stressed free someday.

You are actually a Nov 28 applicant when it comes to counting the days since you applied.

Did you have any requests? I see its been over 6 months since you had Sponsor approval. I'd try calling CIC, and/or talking to your local MP. AIP (approval for applicant) should have been received within 16 months...otherwise you have a right to call.

Only request was for medical in march which my agent failed to tell me about until May. About two weeks ago on the CIC website my status still sais 'application recieved' but under that a new line was added saying 'medical documents recieved.'

Tried calling today couldn't get through will try again in am tomorrow. Tks for the advice!

That's a good sign that it now shows medical received. Getting closer!!

Called and finally got through. They were nice but said we have to wait until it's been 26 months. LOL, sounds like they're determined to drag this out like WTF are they doing there that tens of thousands of Syrians can be approved in months yet we wait years. Not like they can't do things when they want to. Oh well, maybe there is a 't' that requires another couple of months to get crossed.

I am so sorry to hear that your application is going to take 26 months. Hope you will hear something very soon.
I amd June 2015 applicant and when I called CIC they told me that mine would be 26 months too

I know, I follow the 2015 inland thread and it surprises me that now August applications are being processed and receiving DM. Oh well, there is nothing left but waiting. Merry Christmas!

So sorry to hear they are still making you wait. I can imagine what you are feeling seeing the 2015 apps get approvals. I am 1 year after you and have seen 2016 apps get approval. makes no sense that they skip around.

Remind me, do you have dependents or anything that would be causing the delay? Did you ever order your gcms notes?

Yes, we got the notes, have DM as of a couple weeks ago with appointment in Calgary on 31 of Jan. Tried to update the link but all that is there is a blank spread sheet.
