I received SA and AIP last month but they requested a new Medical and Passport copy.
I sent them both 4 weeks ago and not heard anything since...

Thank you for your reply Radium to my question about traveling during the application process.
I do have further questions if you can kindly assist me.
1. On the form you fill it when returning to Canada, does my wife, the person being sponsored, state that she was traveling with me her husband?
2. When speaking to the Canada Border Agent does my wife present me as her husband sponsoring her and that she is visiting me in Canada?
3. Are we upfront that she is being sponsored and we just traveled to a wedding?

So I just called them they said it will take up to 4 months to get reply after receiving csq which we received on Jun so technically they said we should hear some news on October

i got my csq request in end of april, and received at the end of the May, send it to CIC right away, ecase showed started processing my case on july 7, and got DM on july 8th. so probably it wont take 4months, they should review your case soon.

For people already in Canada, landing means going to a local Immigration Office, and picking up your Confirmation of Permanent Residence Document. It then takes 90 days to receive your PR card, but you can use the document you receive at the landing appointment as proof of PR. It is difficult to predict how mch longer you have to wait, but I would say around 5 months.
Hey, just received APR. Does anyone have any idea how that fits IMO the application processing timeline? Should we be expecting AIP any time soon??

I would like to ask anyone out here if you have experienced my case. Alright, let me give you some background history on my case.
I am full time cook, were in fact its a skilled one, unfortunately because of the moratorium issue I was not able to apply under express entry as
I have ended my work permit last Aug 2014. Anyway, May 2015 I got married here in Canada. And somebody advised us to submit our PR application together with OWP application together before my WP expired. We did it, I have make sure things were done, I also called CIC about this and they even advised me that I am still good to work that time and they explained me that I am under implied status. All I have to do is to show my file number to my employer. So, that makes me relieve and happy that time not knowing that they have returned my whole application OCT 2014 due to some missing documents. And after a week we resubmitted everything, we follow the CIC instructions correctly. I continued working not until I received a letter from the CIC Jan 2015 that they have refused processing the OWP because they found out that they did not received my PR application. And that started the whole confusion again. I immediately stopped working as I am also afraid that they will make me an issue of that, as it was advised to me the moment they refused it, the time I lost my implied status. To make it short, Ive waited again and went to a immigration consultant and tell my case. Again, we sent my OWP and after a 2 months they replied saying they cant give me consideration as I dont have a status and PR application. We have spent many from that and 2x our OWP were disapproved! And we came back again to my immigration consultant and this time we have decided to resend the whole application packagae as we have called the CIC many times they kept telling us that based from their system they havent received any PR application. So May 2015 we sent everything. Last July 2015, my husband received a mail from CIC saying they have received my PR application Oct 2014 and that started me to really felt so much confusion yet happy as they have my application on their system. Sad, because I was put on blame for not submitting. A week after my husband received a mail again saying they have received my PR application May 2015. Seriously, this is such so pain in the ass. We have 2 files in the system and they can't blame on that as we are taking actions based from their statements. Now, my question is I have not working for almost 7 months and that is too hard for us. I cant do anything even I wanna just go back to school or do something productive. I am caught in this situation. It seems I dont have a freedom, also I dont have a health care because I lost my status. Just imagine going to the hospital without that, Im 32 now and our plan of having a baby has been delayed because of this. My husband works just enough for our daily living. I wanna just come home as I am so stressed I cant do as they told me I will lost the whole application and my status! What a heck, this is something so unfair. I came here paying my tax and everything, I did not do anything to ruined my reputation in this country and this is what Ive got. I may sound bitter, frustrated because this is what I felt now. Now, I wanna consult a lawyer for this type of case but when I find out how much they are asking, I felt crying because the fact that we cant afford it. Now, im in vain, shadow of confuse and complicated situation really I am just hoping for a miracle. The last time I checked from Ecas our file is in process. But I am hoping that someone out there have experienced what I am going through, also I am taking my chances if possible to be included in the pilot program of OWP even without status and what is the best thing to do.
