INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hi Guys;

So I need some assistance please. After we got our AIP/DM on Oct 21st 2013. we received a letter from CIC requesting my husbands FBI Cert from the states. We sent in all the required docs to FBI in the US and we just found out today after over a month that they are working on Oct 18 files as of right now. We only have until January 21st to have his FBI Cert submitted but looking at the time frame I don't think we will receive it in time to send his Cert to CIC before January 21st. and plus I'm due in January with our baby so looking at all these I don't know what to do... Can anyone of you sweet people advise us on anything what we should do?

Should I or Can I write a letter to CIC asking to extend our time for the FBI Cert since we don't even have it yet.. Will that not cause more delay to his PR app... ??? I'm so confused :-\

please help.

A call to the CIC agent, explaining the delay, would certainly make things clearer........

Hi vaida I am in the same boat. We also sent our application a little more than a month ago, and still did not get any reply. Let's be positive. Everything will turn out awesome!

lovekid! i think you were right, it did turn out awesome, we received the email today, saying that our application has been received. finally! i was freaking out for no reason i guess i'm hoping you maybe received yours as well cheers!

I need to ask a question to CIC and it's so hard to get through..

I applied for sponsorship for my wife back in August and got the AOR in September.
I currently live and work full-time in Toronto.
Now, I got this great new job position in Vancouver and wish to move there for a year with my wife.

1. Should I inform CIC about this?
2. Would I be able to do the interview in Vancouver instead of in Toronto?

Does anyone here has similar situation as I'm in? Your replies would be appreciated.

Hello family, how are you today? It's very depressing to check the CIC page and to know that they will go on holidays soon as well.

In the other hand I'm very COLD!! This blizzard in Calgary is NUTSSSSS. I wish I could sleep until spring.

This is so frustrating. As a February applicant, it's almost worse that they got so close to processing ours and then just stopped. I got too excited by all the movement a few weeks ago and made the mistake of getting my hopes up. I should have learned my lesson not to ever get hopeful

You need to have AIP, for that is 11 months. After AIP you'll be issued an OWP and CIC will send it to you via snail mail.
