SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!! ;D I already has some pretty serious training in patience and uncertainty (military wife), but this immigration stuff is like a Ph.D. in Hurry-Up-And-Wait!

LOL.....this forum needs a "Like" button! I want to "Like" this post. ;D

No update at all on the CIC website for the processing time yet today :( I anxiously await for Thursday to (hopefully) see the months miraculously drop, or the %^*%^% Oct.12 to change.....lol

*sigh*

Maybe later on today....?

I was thinking since the 2012 applications have begun moving again we might see some change....

I don't even bother checking anymore to be honest. They aren't reliable anyway.. Haha. I just check the mail, emails and once in a blue moon ecas (:

It's actually very good news, means they are finally moving, don't forget that as long as they have one process still to "close" from a specific day, they can't update the site, the movement in these last 3 weeks it's already faster than in the last 4 or 5 months, it seems to be shifting, lets remain patient...

This is not may not be true - read the web site
"The tables below indicate application processing times at Canadian visa offices once Step 1 has been completed. The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. Processing times are subject to change."

.... .cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp

This is noted just below the strike notice. I know that this is for outland but I am wondering if they use a similar statistical model.

Good day everyone! I just received a letter from CRapA, my husband said CRA is auditing me. Is there anyone else out there being audited by CRA. I know they pick out people randomly but I just thought this could be part of the PR process too?

I'm pretty sure they do, I stated this earlier in this thread (I think) there are still people before October 15th that are waiting.

Not sure why they're auditing you - I believe that there is no financial requirement for sponsoring spouse/common law as long as you're not on financial assistance.

CRA can audit any return. They don't care about the status of sponsorship or immigration. They just want your money.

Hey guys!

My gf is on a post grad work permit (1 year remaining)

she is submitting her family class - common-law application this week along with a OWP application.
We REALLY REALLY hope that we get AIP within 12 months ! otherwise she will have to quit her job since Post grad work permits dont get 'implied status' (something i learned today)

SO..my question... is do you think she will get AIP within 12 months?

Is it better to get my medical done and send it in with my application or wait for them to request it? Thanks guys! 8)
