My husband just received the approval as a sponsor. I haven't receive my part yet. But thank god they really started working now. Ortom, you are next. Watch your email.

Congratulations! Great news.

No, no! I got that one on January 2014. No Decision Made though. I'm on my 19th month now. They've been doing my background and security checks since April, or so it says the last agent I talked to at the (useless as well) call center.

How about you?

Hi everyone,

sorry but why are 2014 applicants posting here. it is confusing the thread for processing times.

I am still waiting for my husbands status to change to "DM" and receipt of PR its been more than 8 months to date. I required with my local office in August and this is what i received:

After we made an inquiry to CIC, we received the following information:

“The processing of this file is very good. It was received on 7 May 2013 and passed initial review on 30 Jan 2014. Officer reviewed the file on Aug 8 and medical results were received. The file in queue for review, the processing time is 8 months after the first step. The applicant should wait for further instruction. He will be contacted if anything else is required or if any decisions are made.”

You can do another status check in 3 months.

Does anyone suggest to call CIC or would I get another robotic meaning answer that i dont already know.

Thank you.

No, not yet. I noticed they just redesigned the website layout. They spent time on phone system and website eh? Looks like the home owner is busy gardening the lovely backyard while the house is burning down haha. CIC is cute 8)

Looks like they are back in the Inland Sponsorship Office!!! :) Congratz everyone who received AIP.
They finally update my address on ECAS, after 5 months and I requested twice !!!

Ortom, every time I see you post I'm so on edge - I feel like once you get your AIP that means that the rest of us will start getting ours. We're all rooting for you.
