Just checked my phone and there is an email from CIC. I got DM! Only thing is it says we didn't pay the Right of Permanent residence fee. Have to go dig out that receipt now.

Hi there, is pretty quick, they will ask you three questions.

1. Have you ever committed any crime ?
2. Do you have any dependants ?
3. Who is your sponsor ? or "Are you still married to your sponsor"..

PS: Also I heard the ask "What would you do if we refuse your application"

and that's it

Geez...Why in the %#$@ should it take 5-6 months for your landing interview...IN VANCOUVER?!?! It's not like you live in the sticks and they only have one person that comes into town 4 times a year, by dog sled...to hand you your COPR!!!

Exactly, when I asked why such a long wait "it's busy." You would think by now they would change the rules and let inland applicants land anywhere as well just like outland.

So those of us that happen to be in Vancouver, will likely have PR cards (in hand) ~ 8 months AFTER DM.
