Are you going to file taxes with your new SIN or the temporary one?

I haven't got the permanent one yet, so I'm thinking about filing my taxes with the temporary one anyway. I was wondering if there're any disadvantages in doing that.

Hi all, I need someone from this forum to keep me alive. I have a big problem. On December 1,2014 I received my AIP with additional documents being asked. Now I might be able to send the documents on time for the reason of taking forever to get my finger prints back home. They are giving me the dead line which is March 1,2015 which is Sunday as you know. ( Crazy) but I sent a letter to CIC asking for extention 2 times. But I have not received any response from them. What should I do now? Please advise.

I have never called them. I think the wait is long and its hit and miss as to what type of agent you will get. Hope this helps.

got the first part of first stage approval today??, not sure whats that called again (sponsor meets the requirements to sponsor) and says my spouse will be contacted shortly.

Other than faxing/emailing/mailing them your explanation and calling a not so useful help center you can contact your MP and ask them to contact CIC on your behalf.

online status still shows nothing different than before though, on sponsor or applicant side

Hi could you be able to provide us with a little more info so that we can help as much as we can. First thing is why are they asking for your fingerprints from back home?? Arent you suppose to do your fingerprints here and send them those?

Moreover you can try "Case Specific Enquiry" form to get in touch with them, just to give it a shot. Not sure if they're going to get back on that as well.
