Hi, I landed on Oct 2 and I just received my PR card today! Wow~wow~ :) :) :)

@Screech,

sorry the document they wanted was a traffic history report, and we didnt know how we were suppose to send it back and since last time they asked for us to send proof of address we did that by fax, so we figured it would be the same for this.

As for police checks with our application, i believe those were just photocopies not the originals..thats why i thought it was strange they wanted the originals for this.

Did you guys see the processing times on step 2 has changed from 8 months to 11 months now ??? :o :'(

Hello Again, everyone...
Hoping that you're all receiving good news from CIC...
Just wanted to let you all know that my hubby received his OWP today via snail mail.

Waiting for our interview date in Vancouver Office...
Just wondering if you guys have any idea how long it takes from the date that they send the DM letter to the date that they schedule an interview at the local office... I know it depends on the local office and how busy they are, but a general ballpark would suffice. Screech?

Many thanks

Anabanana

Congrats Dawnng....I am happy for you hopefully mine will come soon...
Thanks for sharing the good news.

my landing was on October 3 and i received my PR card today on 19th of November, card was manufactured most likely on 14th of November, based on the expiry date. Journey complete, no have to figure out the citizenship process and timeline.

You can go CiC citizenship website and run the residency online test. Even if you obviously will not pass now but it will give you a date when you do qualify for citizenship.

Hi all,

So i landed on August 23, 2013 and i have still not received the PR card :(. I called CIC this morning and I was passed to 2 agents and both of them said there's a technical problem and they couldn't access my file. I'm worried..has anyone had similar problem before? Any advice would be helpful. Meanwhile, i will try to call them back later!

Thanks

Congratulations to everyone here, this has been such a happy thread as of late!

Yesterday we received an e-mail saying "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent Residence will be processed separately and the applicant will hear from this office shortly."

That was the only e-mail we've received so far - don't they usually send another e-mail shortly after regarding the PR app & work permit? Is it possible they would just sent that by snail mail even though they have our e-mail? I'm nervous again! :-X
