If you JUST sent CIC information, you should expect to wait a month or two before you hear anything further, even if you responded immediately to their request (basically, the file goes back in queue and they will look at it the next time it gets to the front of the queue).

Hi everyone,
I have updated the timesheets. Made an addition to the sheets. Made another colour yellow category indicating OTHER. This is for those outside the usual status.
It is with regret that CheshireCats will be re-applying the sponsorship from stratch through outland. They have decided to pursue this route since judicial review takes too long of a process and very costly to reverse their negative decision. Their lawyer have advised them to start over and reapply outland.
I do not want to remove them from the list on account that there is a record that they did apply inland. With this in mind, I made a new colour status for them.

Is there a way we can send my passport in before they request it. How long do they need it for and what about finger prints is that something everybody has to do as well?

So I just spoke to cic about the documents requested and the lady told me to write them a letter explaining to them the same way I did to her and she reckons they'll ask if they need something else after that or that might just be enough explanation!!....I better get to writing then!

Can you contact your ex and ask him to ask his lawyer to write letter to the CIC that you and your ex were common-law partner, etc.

I sent a letter to cic vancouver last week regarding my situation and finally today I got a call from cic's officer to schedule for me tomorrow. I was super happy since Im almost done. 
I will update tomorrow after landing.
