Hi guys,
Still no AIP for me.
I'm thinking its going to be at least another couple of months, as my application was received on Nov 16th and they are currently working on Oct 21st applications.
My questions today is, has anyone applied for the OWP aswell? If so, how long is the wait to receive the OWP once AIP is received?

If OWp was submitted with app, then it is usually issued at same time as AIP is granted.

Your time line is exactly same with me. Nov 16th.
They started November applications.
I saw a person who applied in Nov got AIP on this forum.

Hi everyone,

I updated and modified the timesheets to reflect the bizarre incident of applicants getting an unoffical AIP status whereby the sponsor has received their sponsor approval for PR sponsorship but no AIP letter has been sent to the applicants.

@ jolly, goldmoon, sunbrey and victorswife,

I have entered the dates based on your sponsor's approval email. Please let me know if I got the dates wrong.

I noticed that PR card timeline has dropped down to 73 days from 77 days from last week update.

We sent you a letter on September 20, 2013 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

His just said they started processing the application Sept. 20th.

So... is this AIP decision made? or Decision made for the whole thing!? (i can wish right!!!?)

Praying for all still waiting.. that they become aggressive in their ability to process all the applications!!!!

No offense to your lawyer. Its easy for him to say "its easy sailing from here on out" sitting behind a desk with a job. Without this AIP letter, you can't do anything. It is like you are still stuck on AOR stage. You can't apply for OWP, you can't apply for health coverage and for some you can't even get a driver licence.

Ok so what are we supposed to do. I thought the first step was for the Sponser to obtain approval which he received an email stating he has and the 2nd step for the the family member being sponsered to be assessed and approved which takes upto 6 months?

Maybe they've changed the system and are not giving AIP anymore?
