i just got off the phone with cic myself, and the have COMPLETED the process!!! i got DM. The agent said an interview date had been set for Sept 16th and i should expect communication withinthe next day or two. Am over the moon!!! ;D

To those who have landed in May and have not gotten their PR card yet, I would suggest you to call CIC and inquire why you have not received your PR card. Rusty had found out that their address was not transferred to CIC halifax. Another May landing applicant was told that there was a glitch in their system and had to "reset" the process to get it moving along. Remember CIC has placed an onus on you to make sure you get your PR card. If you get a response like "still in verification BS" then I would call back every week until you get your card.

Wow! I wonder why I haven't received a letter from the Vancouver office yet...It's been over a month now and my COPR expires on Oct 18th...same day my medicals expire...Looks like the Vancouver office doesn't give appointments based on how they get DM. Well I trust God will make a way for me as He has done throughout this process. Congrats to all who have had landing dates. Please anybody who had DM after July 18th and is landing in Vancouver, could you let us know when you get landing letter.

Hi I am wondering how you knew about your COPR's expiration? I got DM last April 9, but my passport expired last july so my COPR expired as well (according to the agent I was talking to) they gave me another DM last Aug7.

I am landing in Vancouver too. Please let me know.

I oredered gcms notes. Yours must have expired by now, because it is valid only for 3 months. Call CIC ASAP. I will call them tomorrow as well. I want to fax the Vancouver office. What's their fax number?

Just passing threw to see how things are going in here........ doesn't seem like much progress in anyones cases. Our application is coming up on 10 mths and still no progress, no AIP..nothing. I called immigration a week or so ago and they told me if I don't hear back in another 3 mths to give them a call :/

BTW... Screech......can you update my thingy to say meds were done...... it was May we had those done, thanks!

hi m just hoping if anybody can shed some light on my situation .i had applied inland spousal sponsorship and my aip was done after six months and after an year they called us in for an interview at the local office and they took both of me and my wife into seperate rooms and interviewed us and ask alot of questions which we both answered the same and me and my wife both had some problems after our marriage and we decided to live few months apart and than later we both moved back in together which we told the officer and the interview was on the first of august and we havent heard anything yet .is there anything to worry about ?

That's the thing about the ecas website. As unreliable the weekly updates are, you are totally defenseless on inquiring your status on your application until the website passes your application submitted date regardless of how unrealistic the 6 month wait period for 1st stage it is (4 months overdue). CIC has the upperhand over those whose dates are submitted after the website date. Until the date on website passes your submitted date, as far as CIC is concerned, you have no gripe to get them to look as your file. CIC will claim unfair "queue jumping" if they looked at files of future dates pass website date or whatever excuse they can come up with to avoid looking at your files or the usual excuse "wait until website reaches your date of application submission" before calling back.

Thanks for the feedback. I have the timesheet updated. Be nice if you remember your AOR date as well. You would have had it sometime in August - September timeframe. This info is not important but nice to have updated.
