Congrats! :D I hope you will be interviewed soon.
By the way, CIC works on Sunday?? :P

I have received my AIP on Sunday as well, when I didn`t even expect it. I am wondering if DM will come on Sunday as well. Maybe my agent person works on Sundays only :)

You can order them any time just go here. https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do They give you all the notes on your file that are in there computer system if you ask for electronic notes. If you ask for a physical file they will pull the paper file, copy it, and send it to you. Electronic notes are recommended as they are faster and also pose no risk in delaying your application. If you pick physical file your application may be delayed when they pull the the file where as electronic notes they just copy the electronic file thats already in there system.

Sunday ? Wow....

Can you order GCMS notes before AIP or is there any point

I don't think there is any point in ordering GCMS notes before AIP. You can but it will likely to be blank or nothing to be recorded. The application is basically sitting in queue until an agent open it and actually process the application issuing an AIP.

I think you are better off waiting until after AIP is issued or wait a couple of months after AIP is issued. This way there will likely to be some kind of record/report on your application.

I think it is best to apply when your application is taking longer than expected. You can order the notes and be able to see why the application is delayed or taking longer than expected.
