Thanks to all of your fabulous advice, the forums have really been a valuable resource as we have gone through the application process!

I have good news to share
My husband is the applicant, from the US, and I'm sponsoring, we live in Calgary.

Timeline - App sent April 4 2012, received April 11, 2012.
-AIP via email Oct 11 2012
-OWP issued Oct 11 2012
-Medicals sent upon request ~ Oct?
-DM via email April 4 2013, and several days before being updated on Ecas.
-contacted via snail mail April 10 2013
-interview in Calgary July 3 2013!!

I'm celebrating every day, but my husband prefers to wait until after the interview before believing it

Good luck to all the others who have yet to receive their good news!!

It means a decision has been made, just ave a lil more patience and everything will b ok. They just ave not updated the ecas yet! I got my AIP thursday evening, and all my ecas says in application received. I think they just haven't updated it online yet! Hope that puts ur mind at ease. Congrats on ur DM

The entire process was quite smooth- nothing to be worried about

@Ziggy, yes may have our AIP same date. Its getting closer and my prayers have certainly intensified. I hope we get some good news soon. This Forum is quite helpful as we can monitor each others progress and also know what to expect at different stages.

I'm praying for us at the same time. October 5, 2012 they're processing but God doesn't always count 1, 2, 3. Sometimes he jumps to 24 and 26.

I am not allowed to reply to your inbox-ed message, I guess because I don't have enough posts in this forum. Anyways, there are many recent DM's who will land at Etobicoke office so they might be quiet occupied. I haven't received any letter about landing date yet. I will definitely let everyone know when that happens. Hope that we get it sometime next week.
