Good for you!
When did you take your medical exam?
I got AIP but no DM due to the expiry of my medical.
@Lsj2726, I also had to redo my medical
as you! I redid it same day as you and today I called
CIC and was told my medical was already
received!! I don't know if I believe them but.....
I hate waiting!! :)

Your COPR probably got "expired" due to you not landing in time before it got expired and needing a new COPR issued. This has happened to another applicant on timesheet. The vancouver office waited too long to send a landing letter. So they had to reissue a new COPR. The applicant has finally gotten a landing letter and landed.

Thank you Screech339
Officer told me that cic of scarborough send my file back to Vagerville office to review again !
Is it Positive or not ? I so nervous

CONGRATS to those who have received good news!!!!!!!!!!!

Paying the $490 RPRF right after DM didn't seem to slow me down at all. Got DM Aug 30, a letter from CIC asking me to send a few copies (including that receipt) and verify info in mid-Sept (think that's a Québec thing), and landed Oct 10.

I can understand you being nervous. I still think it is a positive DM and file had to be resent back to issue a new COPR.

Decision made

Hi there, just wondering if anyone knows of the timeline between receiving the 'application completed' email/ the online system being updated to say 'decision made', and receiving notification of the decision? I am applying for inland spousal sponsorship through Vegreville and was told the Vancouver office will be in touch.
Thanks

I did the medical exam right after I received AOR, and sent it in Dec 2012 with my UCI number attached to make sure that will be recorded in my application. I believed my online status recorded medical exam received in Feb 2013.

Thank you.

My medical expired 3 days before my AIP
due to cic's data entry mistake of my wife's birthday :(

I should have done it like you.

Hi,

I'm planning to apply for my spouse from Canada. (waiting for the marriage certificate to come)

Can someone please tell me the details regarding the open work permit part which we can get after 1st stage?

We are also planning to travel outside country (for a month) after applying for the immigration.
Can someone please clarify if I can travel during the processing of my application because I heard they can void the immigration application if you travel outside Canada?

Also, I will appreciate if someone can share their timeline who recently applied. Does it really take 11+8=19 months to get the immigration?

Thanks in advance,

- AIP - October 16, 2012 (ecas updated on October 23, 2012)
- OWP - Applied online on Aug 8, 2013 and received it on Sep 23, 2013 (Duration - 2 yrs)
- Fingerprinting request - Done on Sep 13, 2013. RCMP has completed the verification on Sep 16, 2013 and sent it to CIC.

Congrats on getting your DM. Let me know when you get the official email DM and date. You will probably be landing in Hamilton.

I have updated your status on timesheets.
