I applied for pr April 16 2012 check the website 10 minutes ago and they finally went to decision made i hope it will be good news...

Also I've seen people here who mentioned they 'emailed' CIC, but couldn't find the email address to inquire about PR application. Could someone please let me know the address??

The email address for case specific inquiries is: question@cic.gc.ca

You must include:

1. Surname (last name)- Exactly as it appears on the passport or identity document
2. Given name(s) (first name)- Exactly as it appears on the passport or identity document
3. Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD)
4. Country of birth
5. Complete address (including the postal code). If the residential address is different from the mailing address, please provide both addresses.
6. Telephone number. If you have more than one contact number, please provide them all.
7. Client ID Number
8. Online application reference number
9. Type of application (work permit, study permit or visitor record)
10. Approximate date that the application was submitted

I have twice sent an inquiry. The first time, I got a response about two weeks later. The second time...well, it's been over a month and a half, and I just sent another email, because I haven't received any response.

I was looking at the spreadsheet but it seems that applications sent by October 19, 2012 have all received their AIPs..... I'm starting to think my application may be lost somwhere in Vegreville, given the fact that I cannot find anyone on here who applied at around the same time who have not yet received their AIP.

I'm now considering to contact CIC regarding this fact, but do you think I should just be patient and wait? I just feel that if there is something wrong with my application I don't want to take the chance to wait.

It can't hurt to call CIC and ask them on your status of your AIP. If you are unsure of your UCI, you can get it on your visitor record when you came to Canada. Since your application was recieved Oct 9th and they are "stuck" on Oct 8th, there isn't much you can do but wait.

I have you added to timesheet, however I would like more information as well. You should have an AOR dated sometime in Jan and did you sent your police/medical check in with application? What's your country of origin and what city are you currently living?

I would appreciate your feedback.

I'm Japanese, too! I live in Quebec city. As you know, many Japanese choose 'outland' to send their application. So, I'm a bit surprised and glad to know you. I hope you receive AIP and DM soon!

I noticed the 'layout' of the website to checkout ECAS has changed. It kind of got my hopes up this morning that maybe something got nudged. I guess I should've known that the website administrator is NOT going to be a worker, eh? ;D

But you know how it goes, one little change in something gets us ALL excited because we are all crossing our fingers and hoping this will get moving again soon .....

Every time I try and log in on ecas it stops working after they changed the layout so it doesn't wanna appear on the one and only device we got which is an iPad..

Mind you I am guessing here with the flash support. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work on your ipad. It says online that the ecas website are supported by safari, firefox and IE.
