Just an inquiry! do CIC send landing appointment letter by email? or just regular mail? Because of they do, Im screwed, the email I used for my application is no longer working cause I couldn't figure out the answer of one of the security questions.

You can change the email address, in your Ecas. (like changing your address). And they will only send you an actual mail if you have put in your application that you prefer that. If you have been receiving everything through email it is also because you put that you wanted to receive email instead of actual mail. I would change that as soon as you can if I were you.

If any one is interested, my husband's e-case showed IN PROGRESS when I checked this morning as usual, and this afternoon (5 days after the date on the DM letter we got today) it says "DECISION MADE".

Really cause I don't see that in my account.

Yeah, im confused because when i got my AIP they sent it through email, but dm was sent through mail. Now I'm worried.

You must notify CIC of any changes in your application, such as:

changes in your personal circumstances such as a birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce,
change in contact information (email, mailing address, phone number),
appointment or change of immigration representative or designated individual, or,
decision to withdraw your application.

How do I contact CIC?

To change contact information: Please use CIC’s online form to change your contact information. Do not send change of address information to CPC-Mississauga, it will not be acknowledged and your contact information will not be updated. This could lead to a delay in processing your application.

Hi everyone!!!!
I have a very important question. CIC has sent me and email today saying they are please to say that my application for PR has been completed,
and That my local CIC office will contact me regarding the status of my PR, and some notes regarding bringin an original identification for the appointment etc. Does that mean what I think it is? Do you guys think that this is good and they are contacting me to land in a local CIC office???

Note I have changed my last name in the middle of the application because i started using my husbands last name,In which in this letter has already reflected, I think they just want to confirm that I am me before I get the COPR. what do you guys think???

Thanks a million!!!! :) :) :)
. Congrats to you:-).

Can you send me a link to that?

If you can, I will gladly appreciate it. ;)

CONGRATS to all those making progress! You give the rest of us hope that it's NOT a truly eternal process, haha, and that CIC is still working on applications.

Here is the link Canadaeh, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-after.asp
You just have to contact them that's all and make sure you change it to the correct email address so that no matter where they send it you can be sure that you will receive it.

Thanks to all saying congratulations, we are all so excited about this. There are people working there after all. :p

Congrats to everyone who is getting DM's. I hope this is the start of the joyful daily enjoyments

Don't worry they send landing appointment by snail mail EVERYTIME.
