It's been 8 months since my AIP & still no DM, Is there anyone else in the same situation as me? I wonder what's the hold up.

If I say I don't feel frustrated I'd be lying. Patience is not my problem right now, its the fact that there is no progression for weeks now. If the date had moved to Oct 9 (just one day) then Oct 10, I would have felt better. You can't call the call center and expect to hear anything explanation or additional info, there is nothing on the CIC website that is giving us any explanation as to why there is a hold up.

I don't have a life right now, breathing yes... But am in limbo. I want to start back school and get on with life but I don't know ??? They are also causing a lot of stress and strain in the marriages, be it psychological or financial or whatever. What hurts is the fact that there is no direct forum to air our views so that immigration can see the number of applicants needing an explanation. I love this forum though at least we can get some comfort knowing we are not alone. Am hoping that some progress will happen soon.

Some kind of news/update from CIC.
I use to live on CIC website. Looking for
Some form of update . Lately even that is pointless
I've come to accept the fact that they're not doing
Much over there. Our lives are on pause
Waiting for a bunch off people to decide what's next
In our capture. My frustration is spilling over.

It appears that according to the timesheet, the list of usernames with landing dates has been slowly reduced to 11 awaiting their assigned landing dates (Green Lines). Meanwhile the completed applicants are slowly growing.

Hope those with Decision Made will get their landing letters soon and those in process gets their DMs and AIPs soon. Afterall we are halfway through 2013.

Hopefully we get some good news this week including new process of CIC website date.

Updating of CIC site doesn't say anything! That's unreliable because no one can convince me that they're still doing October 8. They're doing applications that were further backlogged or overdue than ours. I hope to compensate they'll issue both stages the same time

While I understand that the website can be unreliable in the sense that they are "working" on applications submitted Oct 8 for 2 months. It would have made more sense if they posted a note on website saying that the process are on hold due freeing up backlog of past applications. But I doubt that will post that kind of info as it would invite lawsuits on current applicants on misrepresentation of information. They don't want to be liable. It is no difference from those posting lottery numbers. At least they say "unofficial lottery results".

HI, I absolutely understand your plight. Have you received AIP yet or still waiting? If you have, you can go ahead with your plans for school as there are still many college and some university programs still accepting applications.

Nope, I haven't called yet. I plan to, but I am in no particular rush as i know the cic agents will have nothing useful to tell me. I'll probably do it tomorrow.

@boredhousewife. That's tru, that's the reason why I don't evn bother to call them again, I see your country of origin is Jamaica, likewise, so maybe its the embassy in Jamaica that's being slow with our background check, I dunno, jus saying ...At the end of the day, We have no choice bt 2 wait
