Sorry to say, but your dates will be reset to whenever you mailed it back in.

@ Kriss..
CPC-V had withdraw my money in October 2012 but the officer returned my application because he/she didn't get my original payment which other officer got and withdraw it.
I still wonder what kind of the computer system they use. It seems something wrong with their management .

Surely they could have sent you a letter requesting anything that was missing,I guess it depends with the officer handling your case,It wouldn't have cost them a thing and would have put a smile on your face to know someone cared to not put you through all that when it wasn't necessary!!!Well,soon it'll all be history,until then,we wait!

I know it sucks, they originally had stamped June 1st on the application, we were very upset to find out they wouldn't do anything for us when we sent it back in. They told us it was our word against theirs as to weather the receipt was in there or not. Ugh, oh well we will hopefully soon have our AIP.

Soon we'll all be done and it'll be history ;D-Am a month behind yah! :)

I got an email to check MyCIC today. It had a notice saying that they sent my work permit.
so I expect my OWP in the mail sometime this week! run postman! RUN!

Online App on Mar 5, approved on Apr 15... received in mail Apr xx (watch this space)

I hope this means I can get a new job soon! looking forward to a change!

good luck to all and congrats on all the DMs... seems like the AIP to DM time had come down dramatically... hope that means I'm next in line for a sweet DM email... although I doubt it because they didn't get my meds when I did it the first time round. Anyways.

God bless!

I wish it was 2-6 weeks but my landing appointment in Calgary is 3 and a half months from the DM email.

hi guys !
does anybody know when i am supposed to receive the letter from Cic local office to pay the amount left (490$) and the landing appointment letter ? I got my dm last week .
I'm in Montreal , thank you :)

@krissikriss
I am looking to see your AIP this week. If you get this week then I'm definitely gonna be getting next week. Yawdie mek we just pray and beg God to help us

Just want to wish everyone who have received AIP, DM and have landed a BIG CONGRATS!!!! Very happy for you all and I hope CIC really closed people who are waiting from 2010 thru 2012 and start handling 2013. Despite the unnecessary stress they put decent people through. I love the informative of this forum, it really help to see everyone experience. I hope we all get good news sooner than later, long may it last. ;D

Hi Fiodena.

My information is only based on those who have submitted their timeline on Rusty's timesheet. The waiting time from DM to Landing at Calgary are listed as followed:

pearl75 = 86 days
Barley = 90 days
RR VDB = 76 days
Jenny12345 = 113 days
alinka = 118 days

So perhaps you can ask your lawyer why these people have to wait almost 3 months or more land at Calgary office.

So while I would hope you would only wait 2-6 weeks to land at Calgary, I am afraid you may have to wait around 3 months like the others. No offense, but having a lawyer doesn't mean you will land faster either. You are treated the same as those listed in assigning landing date.

The Edmonton office seems to have a much shorter wait time from 36 to 43 days. The wait time there is more reasonable.

I applied on the 16th so you and I should be getting our AIP's close to the same time:)-Does your application say its in process?mine still says application received:(

My application also says still in process yeah. I assume it will be that way til we get our AIP as they don't actually process our, the sponsored, information until after the AIP.

Hope they get to it soon!!!!!!!
