Time line really looks great and promising for those who applied in September and my hope is that they will not slow down much during vacation season and that post will resume their work, otherwise how are we supposed to get immigration letter... I sooo much hope that decision on my application will be made prior to my medical expires, which would mean my son's medical also will expire... to re-do those during summer time isn't much fun as doctors also tend to go on vacation... it's amazing how things such application approval can make you happy ;D at least for a while.

Happy Saint-Jean everybody! Not that I'm very much into national holidays, but today I am, because it gives me a (paid) day off, rather then having to continue to work 7 days a week (for some reason my employer refuses to give us days of, my last 1 day weekend of was 3 weeks ago and only because I made plans, my colleagues had to work that day). The big public party yesterday turned out to be very small this year, because the mayor didn't allow public drinking (which means people are forced to pay 7$ for shitty beer from the sponsor of the event, so they'll rather celebrate at home or with friends). Seems like a strong message.

Anyway, finally weekend and only rain. I need to go out!!

By the way guys, look at that incredible processing time. WOW almost 9 months. Already 1 month less than most of us had to wait. That is just terrific. Sorry for taking so horribly long to update but I could not sleep tonight and thought to update it now while I had the chance. If there are any mistakes, please let me know. Also, to those that have landed, please list the city you are landing in.

It just seems cool to see the cities that get the most immigrants. I will try to keep up with the chart more guys. Thank you for being so patient with me. GOOD LUCK to everyone still waiting and I hope this chart keeps you hopeful as well as this thread. And CONGRATULATIONS to all those that are now PR's or have obtained AIP that is just wonderful. Hope you all have a wonderful day and weekend. Canada Day is coming soon and I cannot wait to celebrate my first "official" Canada Day. Anyone else excited? How are you all celebrating this year?

Oh man is that in Edmonton? my status is Decision Made as well, but i have not received any communication from Edmonton Office yet. Infact i spoke to call center only today, and the lady on the phone advised me to wait for 4-6weeks.

When was your application get approved by Vegreville?

What is the address for CIC Edmonton?

I agree that praying might help but a well done/complete Application is a MUST!

1- Can one get helth cover on open workpermit in Alberta?
2- If someone gets pregnant while her PR application is in process, would she be able to get health cover?

Thanks, but this site does not say anything about health cover for OWP holder, or anyone who is pregnant and her PR application is in process.
