Hi all,

I sent an application to extend my status as visitor in August 2020 as my status was due to expire in September 2020.

Thereafter, I submitted an inland PR + OWP application in November 2020 while being on implied status as a visitor.

My concern is that if my extension application is returned to me as incomplete, I would retrospectively lose my status from September.

Will I be able to restore my status if my extension application is returned to me after December 2020, as 90 days would have passed by then.

Thanks.

They often give the 90 days from the day when they give you an answer, but it would be stated in the letter they send you.

I think they give 90 days to restore status if the application is refused, not if it is rejected as incomplete (as it not considered to have ever been received).

I am wondering if I should pre-emptively apply for restoration of temporary status since my original status was valid until September 22.

But if app is not refused i am not sure why you wish to restore.. i wd have sent a renewal of visitor visa if you were worried
