Inland application. How did it take CIC to let you know they received it?

We sent our application last Friday and according to my Canada Post tracking number it
was delivered yesterday morning. We are just wondering how long it will take CIC to let us know they have got it?

For us, we applied on March 2nd and we got an AOR on May 13th. We sent our application package on Monday, September 12, 2016 and it was received by them on September 13, 2016. I am not sure what the next step is, whether I should be following up or just wait to hear back from cic.

Do you have a courier receipt? (assuming that's how you know they got it)

You have to wait for them to do a cursory assessment to make sure the package in complete, and add the case to GCMS. Then they will start sending communication. Typically 3-6 weeks is what people are reporting lately.
 
Yes, I sent it through courier and I received a tracking number. I was able to track my package using the tracking number.

For my case it was received March 02 2016, and I didn't see anything from CIC until May 13 2016. So, try not to worry about it for now... There is lots of time coming up that you can worry ;)
