I just received my confirmation letter for 2nd stage. we both have very close 2nd stage DM date!

if you haven't gotten your confirmation letter yet you should be getting it very soon!! make sure to check your email and junk mail because some people get it through email!

my landing office is in Kitchener! waiting for the date now.

Just got the "decision made" from my second stage approval. Omg! I am so happy! Hope to get the letter soon.

Wondering the landing letter comes separately?

I called CIC and they told me that my landing office is Etobicoke. They will schedule an interview soon, probably around end of Oct.

Wondering anyone knows how long will it take for the etobicoke?

when I got my AIP i took the letter to them and told them i'm approved to be sponsored but the person told me "you still have to report until we see what happens to your application" i'm guessing the CBSA officer might not know that I should stop reporting, or the officer just wanna be a pain to make my life more difficult, who knows but i have to do the report on in few days again and I will take my second stage approval letter that I received today to them and hopefully they will leave me alone.

same here, i gave them the AIP letter but they still give me appointment date. I actually went there today to report and again i have to go back there next month (November) hopefully that will be the last one as Im waiting for my 2nd stage more than one month now.

Yeah in that paper it tells u that u have met the eligibility for permanent residence. Since u were a refuge just tell them u need the passport for immigration. R u from Toronto ?

today I finally got the letter for second stage!! i'm so happy!! ;D :-*
the E-cas changed to "DM" on Friday Sep, 28.

I called CIC Yesterday regarding the "DM" and asking when i'm getting a letter they replied to me " its still showing in process in our system and it could take months" lol so if you do call them and get an answer like that don't take it seriously!

so now i'm waiting for landing date letter

They definitely have no idea of what their doing. I called today I'm waiting for my second stage it's been 3months and she goes like it might take a few more month or it could take a few more years!!! But how come it says second stage 8months then she goes like where does it say that... I just hung up the phone on her loll

I received two letters the first one in july, 21 for AIP and the second one for confirming 2nd stage completion today OCT, 03

this is what it says on the latest letter "this letter refers to your application for permanent residence, We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed, the canada immigration center in Kitchener will contact you"

I have to do another report next week on wednesday, and I will take the 2nd stage letter with me and hopefully they won't tell me to report again. it would be ridiculous if they still want me to go and report until I get the landing interview lol.
if its been already a month since your AIP you should be close to your second stage, so its safe to say its your last one.

but either way I can update you if you like when I go there next week.

hi guys, my wife and me in quebec for tourism(i have tourist visa) and i want to ask some questions:
-can we apply as family for CSQ from inside quebec
-how long it will take (how many monthes)
-can we start working during the process time of our CSQ or we have to wait until we get the approval? if we can't work so will they help us financially(if no so how can we live without money)
- can we stay over there during the process time of our CSQ or we should go back to our country until they take decision about our CSQ
-should we know french or our english language is enough
-is our conditions are sufficient or not (i am 26 years old and have bachelor of information technology and computing, with 1-2 years of experience in web development very good in English no french married with no children my wife 25 years old she studied nursing in Technical Institute and she has 4-5 years of experience in Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) in american university hospital in Beirut, good to very good in English with no french )

please share you experience...

one more question can i search for job me or my wife and get a job offer if yes can we get work permit to stay and work during the process time?

I hope everything will be ok with your case! Lets hope it will be your last time to go there! The cbsa office help me a lot in my case, they actually adviced us to proceed with sponsorship under family class, if not them im not gonna go this far! Good luck to your landing soon! Keep us updated!
