did they ask you for medical again? or you didn't have it included originally when you applied your application?

in may case when I applied I included the copy of my medicals as one package, in my ecas says "medical received" and they haven't asked about it. it sounds like when they request for additional info it takes them a good while to open the file up :(

I did n't include medicals in one package that why It has been requested when I got AIP. How long does usually take to open up the file?

Congratulations :) !!!!!!! thats nice to hear. I really hope we are getting close too. please update us when they set an interview!

in my ecas status under my permanent resident application says:

We received your application for permanent residence on August 29, 2011.

We started processing your application on July 16, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

I sent them a photocopy of my travel document last week, that they had requested I hope it does' t take very long reopen the file. :(

it seems it takes more than 3 months for them to reopen everything and process it. I just hope mine doesn't fall in to the Christmas holidays because that will farther delay the whole thing, I might fall in to the holiday :( which means 2013!

Thanks kitchener_inland, be positive!!!! you know, just put your fingers crossed, this year they have computerized the process, so you can hope for shorter waiting time. I bet you'll hear it latest in November.

by the way a quick question guys. when I try to apply for OWP online, there is a drop down where I have to choose which category to apply under. it asks "What is your current status in Canada?" the choices there are; Worker, Temporary resident holder, Student, Visitor, Refugee claimant, Live-in care giver"

the choice should be Temporary resident holder or Worker? there is no choice for spouse sponsorship.
