Hi Guys
Just wondering if anyone here got a letter requesting additional information.
We got a letter requesting more proof of relationship, fingerprints, joint bank accounts etc.
We received the letter dated April 26th. They received all the information May 10th.
I haven't heard anything since.
We sent our application in on July 3rd 2011

it takes about 50-60 days to open the requested info...but u can call cic to find out the time line on that exactly on what req is being opened now...you are on track...no worries

sorry about that.. actually though i just called service ontario and they said no.. they said i need proof that i am eligible to apply for permanent residence.

that's what is AIP...you are not the first person to apply for ohip with AIP..dont worry about what they say on the phone...go to service canada and apply in person...quick and easy

Actually no but let's use our intelligence....there is a search field on top right, just type in what u looking for and read upon that.....posting and reposting answers is not always welcoming and may not get no one to answer your question at the end...search for keyword and you will get your answer quickly and efficiently within it......

NO nO no, you and the agent did not understand each other...there are to types of time line: one for the application and another one for the requested info. they told you for the processing of initail appl. you have to tell them that you were requested some additional info on ...and u sent it out on... and you would like to know what date they are on now opening the additional info....the last time I called they were opening May 25 additional info so it can't be true..you just did not understand each other. April is the processing of initial app which is even outdated as we can see in this forum they are processing aug applicant now. but dont worry about that.

I had a similar situation but I called in early June and they told they're opening additional info that are dated April 30th :S

I'm just hoping that I get AIP at this point and not my file sent to local office for interview.

I went and applied for OHIP today. There is a 3 month waiting period, beginning with the date of your stage 1 approval (AIP). I had my picture taken and they will mail my card to me, which will be good for 1 year. Once I have landed, I can go back in for one that will be good for 5 years.
