Hi Friends,

Finally after a long wait we received the CoPR!

We booked a vacation before we got the CoPR, so we were thinking of doing the landing once we land at YVR Airport. Is that ok? Can we do the lending in YVR Airport or it must be a flag poll/IRCC office?

Thanks,

Hi there,

YVR Airport has a dedicated immigration office, they can land you with no problem. All the best and welcome to Canada.

Side note: CEC applications do not get treated differently if you are inland or outland. Just a little blurb. ;)

I'm the main applicant and in my CoPR and in the section, last entry at, last entry date and orign entry is blank while for my husband (dependence) it had details on when he first came to Canada. Is that normal? We both currently lives in Canada (work permit)

Yeah it should be fine. You can call CIC to reconfirm.

If I am an inland applicant, can I land at the airport without booking a flight?
No, you need to exit the country to land at the airport. You can flagpole at US-Canadian border to complete your landing.

Another question, do they ask for photos (other than the photos provided with the passports and the ready for visa) after landing?
