Hi guys,

Quick question on the use of initials. All my work related documents and my degree, etc have my name where the middle name is an initial like, Xxxx Y. Zzzz. The Y is in expanded form in my passport like, Xxxx Yyyy Zzzz.

Is this a problem?. Do I need an affidavit or something?

I don't think this should be a problem because the information is not contradictory. If you had your middle name as W. and your passport had it as Yyyy, I think it would be a problem.
