Hi,

I have applied for FSW PR on July 1st 2011 and the application was received at CIO on 5th July. However up to now I have not got any response.

When can I expect a reply from CIO with the reference number?

Rgds

I am also worried for same...

:-( so another person joining my club. When did you apply and when did it reach the CIO? Under what category did you apply?

There is no real way of tracking? So I am trying to get a feedback from fellow members...

Dear All,

No need to worry at all, in case your papers are in order. Usually it takes between 2-5 months to get your PER/NER. Be optimistic and relax.

Regards,

Thanks a lot. What is the meaning on PER / NER...

Ok, A news. My credit card statement shows that CAD550 has been charged. If that is so; in which level the application could be in?

It'll take from 7-8 weeks minimum but i have observed from June-2011 applicants that most of them got AOR or PER or NER after 60-70 days. so the same will go with July-2011 applicant, I presume. so the one whom application received in the first week will start receiving AOR or PER or NER from next week.
But if you are curious to know about your application status send your query here

Quote from CIC website
Please do not send the same inquiry more than once. You can reach the CSU at

FSW‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca.

and give them:

your name:
Applied NOC number:
Date application received: (If u sent through a courier you will have it)
Passport Number:
Address:

You will get response in 2 weeks time.

Note:
AOR = Acknowledge of Receipt
PER = Positive Eligibility Review
NER = Negative Eligibility Review.

PER = Positive Eligibility Review commonly known as First AOR
NER = Negative Eligibility review (means refusal at CIO end)

If you CC has been cashed then its a good news, hopefully you will receive good news with in 4- 6 weeks

Yes, we just need to wait. I haven't heard anything from Canada immigration office either. I would suggest you to work towards getting your police clearances ready.

Hi,
CIO received my FSW 2145 application on October-07, and no response since then (nearly 3 months..). >:(
I started to stress out and sent a mail, they wanted me confirm identity by an ID or file number, but I dont have anything yet since I received no response yet. :'(

How did you get the information regarding 120 days? :o Actually sad, but seems to be true since I have been waiting that long already..
